What are ducats?
You can use ducats to rent various engines running on powerful hardware on enginecloud using fritz or chessbase software, buy software products on chessbase.com, or pay for lessons or premium chess content on playchess.com. On a normal price 1 euro = 10 ducats.
**Important**
You must have a premium or starter chessbase and playchess account and fritz or chessbase software to use and accept ducats. Please send your playchess account name or "nick" on the email provided on your invoice using the email you have used on checkout. And load any engine on the enginecloud at maximum price (currently 10 ducats a minute) using the account name you just sent us and leave it there. And we'll rent it until the total amount you purchased has been transferred to you. For your convenience you can also load 2 or more engines so transfer will be faster specially for high amount purchases. Note that engine cloud charges a small fee when renting which will be shouldered by the buyer, which is why you might not get the exact amount you purchased. So it is recommended to have a queen or king rank account if you can (achievable by being an official FIDE IM or GM).
If your account's rank is queen and above then you can go to playchess.com mainhall and we'll transfer the entire amount instantly (note your account status must not be "idle" when in the room). And you must click confirm when the ducats are being sent. When buying a large amount, we might split the ducats in batches so you need to confirm multiple times.
